It is critical for a company to setting a marketing goal, but in practice, many companies don’t know how to properly set an objective that fitted in the strategy. Mostly, the objectives must be quantifiable. Otherwise, the goals would be difficult to evaluate after the period end.
To set up a proper marketing objective, there are few things should be considered of:
1. Need, the objective should be designing to giving the reason for customer to buy it, it could meet customer’s needs or arouse customer’s protentional needs.
2. Preference, the marketing objectives could meet customer’s loyalty, put some information in something have highly related platform would bring high efficiency results.
3. Search, without selling the products or services, marketing could be nothing. In the marketing process, specialist must provide information to let customer be able to find where is the place to purchase it. It could be a physical place, a website, a phone number or whatever method, unless your products could be found in most of local store.
4. Selection is the next step; this step is to keep customer buy the company’s products instead of competitors’ products. As well as to buy more expensive products.
5. (I don’t agree author’s idea, so I don’t write his stuff) After paid, After customer paid for products or services, the Marketing was mostly finished, the only and critical thing for customer is about products themselves, the quality have to match the marketing information to satisfied customers, otherwise complains would fly to the company to say they won’t buy anything from the company anymore. If the products as good as it been told in advertisements, mostly they would be satisfied. (Or you can not to say anything about the product’s quality itself, it happens with high percentage.)
